Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 3/23/2025
At Home Based, each co-living experience is intentionally curated and space is limited. Because of this, cancellations impact our ability to offer this opportunity to others. Please read our cancellation policy carefully before booking.
1. Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. This deposit goes toward your total balance and holds your place in the experience.
If you cancel after paying your deposit, it will not be refunded.
If Home Based cancels the experience for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund, including the deposit.
2. Payment Plans
If you choose a payment plan through Stripe or Klarna:
All installment payments must be made on time as agreed.
Missed or failed payments may result in the loss of your spot.
The deposit remains non-refundable, even if your plan is canceled or interrupted.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
If you need to cancel, refunds (excluding the deposit) are issued based on how early you notify us:
More than 60 days before start date: 75% refund of the amount paid (minus deposit)
30–59 days before start date: 50% refund (minus deposit)
Less than 30 days before start date: No refund
If you're on a payment plan, this refund policy applies to the amount you’ve paid so far, minus the deposit.
4. Transferring Your Spot
If you can’t attend, you may transfer your spot to another eligible participant up to 14 days before the start date. Contact us directly to make arrangements.
5. No-Shows & Early Departures
No refunds will be given for:
No-shows
Late arrivals
Leaving the experience early for any reason
6. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for cancellations due to events outside of our control (e.g., natural disasters, travel restrictions, political unrest). In these rare cases, we will do our best to offer partial refunds or reschedule options where possible.
